Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Cancellation Request
All requests for cancellation of bookings must be submitted in writing by the primary traveler to our official email address info@go-yaatra.com. Verbal requests or phone cancellations will not be processed.
2. Standard Cancellation Fees
Depending on the date of written cancellation before the departure date, the following deduction charges will apply to your package total:

| 8 to 14 Days before departure | 75% of total package cost |

3. Non-Refundable Components
Certain elements of your booking might be completely non-refundable regardless of the date of cancellation. These include:
- Promotional, charter, or low-cost airline flight tickets.
- Surcharge hotel rooms booked for holiday peak-seasons (Christmas, New Year, Holi, Chardham Yatra opening/closing weeks).
- Island ferry tickets and speed-boat bookings in Andaman or Thailand.
- Visa application fees once submitted to consular departments.
4. Refund Processing Timeline
Once a cancellation request is verified, refunds are processed back to the original payment source (bank account or credit card). The processing period takes approximately 10 to 15 business days to reflect in your account, depending on bank clearance speeds.
5. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Events)
In the event of tour cancellations due to natural disasters, heavy snowfall, landslides (e.g., in Chardham/Kedar treks), flight groundings, epidemics, war, strikes, or sudden government restrictions, GoYaatra will coordinate with suppliers to claim maximum refunds or issue travel vouchers. We are, however, limited by the policies of respective hotels and airlines.
