Kedarnath Yatra (Ex Haridwar)

Upon arrival at Haridwar, you will be picked up and driven to your hotel in Guptkashi or Sitapur (190 km). Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the historic town of Guptkashi. Located at 1,320 meters in the sacred Kedar-Khanda region, the town is famous for the ancient Vishwanath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Overnight stay in Guptkashi or Sitapur.

After an early breakfast, check out and drive to Sonprayag. From there, take a local government jeep to Gaurikund, the starting point of your 17 km trek to Kedarnath. You can choose to trek or hire a pony/doli (cost not included) as you ascend alongside the holy Mandakini River. Join fellow pilgrims chanting "Jai Bholenath" as you reach the shrine. Check-in at your stay, refresh, and head to the 3,000-year-old Kedarnath Temple for evening Darshan and the divine Aarti. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.

Wake up in the lap of nature, surrounded by snow-capped Himalayan peaks. If time permits, you can visit the temple for morning Darshan. Afterward, trek back down to Gaurikund, return to Sonprayag, and drive back to Guptkashi/Rampur for a comfortable overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel with lifelong memories of your spiritual journey. On the way back to Haridwar, visit the sacred river confluences (Prayags) and the revered Dhari Devi Temple. You will be dropped at Haridwar railway station or airport for your onward journey.
