Kerala Backwaters & Hills (Cochin, Munnar, Thekkady & Alleppey)

Upon arrival at Cochin International Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Visit the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church (the oldest European church in India), and Santa Cruz Basilica. In the evening, explore Marine Drive before returning to the hotel. Overnight stay in Cochin.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Munnar. On the way, visit the picturesque Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Visit the plush green tea gardens and experience the vast plantation area along the scenic hill slopes. Check in at your resort. Overnight stay in Munnar.

After breakfast, proceed for a full day of sightseeing in Munnar. Visit Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Dam, and Echo Point (a serene spot to echoing your voice). Visit the local Tea Museum. In the afternoon, visit the Eravikulam National Park (Note: Rajamala Wildlife Sanctuary inside is closed in February and March). Overnight stay in Munnar.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Thekkady, India's largest wildlife sanctuary. Check in at the hotel. Embark on a spice plantation tour covering tea, coffee, pepper, and cardamom. Enjoy an amazing boat ride on Periyar Lake inside the Periyar Tiger Reserve to spot wild elephants, bison, and deer. In the evening, visit the local spice market. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Alappuzha (Alleppey), the "Venice of the East". Check in at your hotel/resort. Enjoy the gorgeous backwaters of Alleppey. An optional Shikara boat ride is highly recommended to cruise through the scenic backwater canals. Overnight stay in Alleppey.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Depending on your flight/train schedule, enjoy some last-minute shopping before being transferred to Cochin International Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station for your departure home.
